Clove oil is obtained from the flower buds of the Eugenia caryophyllata plant. Cloves are used in cooking as a spice, although they have many uses beyond food.
Cloves are used for dental hygiene, possessing a powerful ability to clean and freshen breath. Clove oil can also be used in skin exfoliation preparations and offers numerous benefits for the circulatory system. Its warming sensation makes it suitable for massage. It should be diluted with other oils, such as coconut oil.
As a curiosity, I should tell you that the nail gets its name from the Latin word "clavus", this is an appropriate name, because they literally look like nails.
Combinations: Clove oil blends well with essential oils that have similar properties: cedarwood, cinnamon, ginger, cassia, frankincense, wild orange, Roman chamomile, and fennel oil.
